And Now Comin...To The Platinum Stage....It's......SOUTHERN FLAME!!!!Wut up? I am Meca b.k.a. Southern Flame and I am a member of HOT G.R.I.T.S. We are a group of beautiful sisters on our way to our 25th BIRTHDAY BLOW OUT!!! We call ourselves HOT G.R.I.T.S. because we are fine, sexy, beautiful GIRLS RAISED IN THE SOUTH!!! Every fella knows that the he wants to try a southern lady at least once before he dies. And we are, by far, the best for marrying. That is not to put other sistas down because Black women got it goin on in every region.
Well, as of right now we are on a mission. See, we know we are PHAT (Pretty Hot And Tempting), but we want to make sure that we are fabulous for our 25th birthday celebration in the carribbean. So, each of we has set a goal to lose a certain number of pounds, others want to tone, and some want to gain weight by the time our trip comes about in Summer 2006. I, myself, am a thick sista and very shapely (not toooooo much) but I do have a goal of muscle toning and dropping about 30-40 pounds of fat. Only thing...I don't want to lose the booty so I am going to make sure I hit the incline on the treadmill.
Just like a Charlie's Angel but with more flava, I accept my mission and goals. I have pledged to up hold all of my promises to myself. I love life and as many of us know.... Black women, we are more at risk of a lot more health problems than other people. So, to anyone sista reading this take charge of your health, learn how to eat right so that you can teach your kids.
I am not perfect by far and I know that some of my insecurities will surface during our journals but they might help someone else overcome, as well as myself. I am all for spiritual healing...
